1. Acceptance
By using this website, you agree to these Terms.
2. What Messinia Holidays is (and is not)
Messinia Holidays provides travel content (guides, itineraries, recommendations) and sells digital PDF guides.
We are not a travel agency. Accommodation and car-rental bookings are completed with third-party providers.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this site (text, design, and PDF guides) is protected. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or resell content without written permission.
4. Affiliate links and third-party services
Some links are affiliate/partner links (see Affiliate Disclosure). Third-party services operate under their own terms and policies; we are not responsible for their availability, pricing, cancellations, or customer service.
5. Shop (PDF Guides) — purchase, delivery, license
5.1 Payment
Payments are processed via Stripe. We do not store full card details.
5.2 Delivery
PDF guides are delivered via instant download (or an immediate access link after successful payment).
5.3 License
When you purchase a PDF, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license. Redistribution, sharing, or resale is prohibited.
6. Refunds and right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
6.1 Refund policy (our policy)
- If the download/access to the PDF has not started, you may request a refund within 14 days from purchase.
- If the download/access has started, refunds are not available, except where mandatory law applies.
6.2 Digital content withdrawal exception (important)
EU consumer rules allow that, for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may be lost once performance begins if you give prior express consent and acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right, and the trader provides confirmation.
Accordingly, during checkout we will request your consent for immediate delivery/download and acknowledgement of this effect.
7. Accuracy disclaimer (travel information)
Travel information (opening hours, prices, routes, conditions) can change. Content is provided “as is”. You are responsible for verifying critical details with official sources and providers.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Messinia Holidays is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the site or third-party services.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be subject to the competent Greek courts, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
11. Online dispute resolution (ODR)
The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued as of 20 July 2025.
